Travel Nuclear Medicine Technician – Pikeville, KY
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $3,000 (based on experience)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Monday–Friday | 8-Hour Days
Connected Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Travel Nuclear Medicine Technician for an exciting opportunity in Pikeville, Kentucky. This position offers the chance to join a dedicated imaging team in a dynamic medical environment, while exploring the natural beauty and charm of Eastern Kentucky.
Job Description

Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures using state-of-the-art imaging technology

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to established protocols
-
Operate nuclear medicine equipment including gamma cameras, PET scanners, and radiation detection devices
-
Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
-
Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
-
Document all procedures and patient information in accordance with facility and HIPAA guidelines
-
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and provide quality patient care

Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday rotations as scheduled
Education and Certification Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program required

NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification required

Kentucky State Nuclear Medicine Certification required
-
AHA BLS Certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine

Proficiency with Siemens imaging systems and keyboard patient registration required

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality imaging
