Job Description

Local Travel Cath Lab Technician – Days -  Pikeville, KY

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician for a local travel contract in Pikeville, KY. This is an excellent opportunity for allied health professionals looking to take the next step in their career while staying close to home.

Position Overview:

  • Location: Pikeville, KY

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

  • Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour days)

  • Compensation: Up to $3,150/week depending on experience

  • On-Call Requirements: Call required 7–8 days during each 6-week period

  • Weekend/Holiday Requirements: 1–2 weekends every 6 weeks; holidays as needed

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures

  • Prepare and operate specialized radiologic equipment

  • Monitor patient vitals and report any irregularities during procedures

  • Maintain sterile field and follow all safety protocols

  • Accurately document procedures in EPIC electronic medical records system

  • Ensure equipment is cleaned and properly maintained after procedures

  • Provide support and assistance to other departments as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • ARRT Certification (Must hold active Radiologic Technologist license)

  • Kentucky State License (Required at time of submittal)

  • AHA BLS and AHA ACLS Certifications

  • EKG Certification

  • Minimum 2+ years of recent Cath Lab experience

  • Proficient in EPIC charting system
