Job Description:
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your role will include, but is not limited to:
- Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
- Operating specialized nuclear medicine equipment.
- Performing imaging procedures and analyzing images for diagnostic quality.
- Collaborating with physicians to provide accurate test results.
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
Education and Certification Requirements:
To qualify for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
- Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT).
- State licensure in Nevada (or eligible for licensure).
