Travel/Contract Interventional Radiology Technologist – Winston-Salem, North Carolina
13-Week Contract | Weekly Pay Up to $3,000 (Based on Experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Winston-Salem, NC. This opportunity is with a top-tier healthcare facility and is ideal for IR Techs with experience in Neuro IR and Level 1 Trauma environments.
Job Description – Interventional Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Assist physicians with image-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, neurovascular interventions, and other minimally invasive techniques

Prepare and operate IR equipment, ensuring all imaging and radiation safety protocols are followed
-
Maintain sterile field and assist with catheter and wire manipulation
-
Monitor patient vitals, administer contrast media, and provide patient care throughout the procedure
-
Document patient records and procedural details accurately and timely
-
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a high-acuity setting
Contract Details

Length: 13 Weeks

Compensation: Up to $3,000/week (based on experience)

Schedule: Rotating schedule based on an 8-week cycle
Licensure & Certifications Required
-
BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA)
-
ARRT-R – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Radiography) or RCIS – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
Experience Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology/Neuro IR experience

Previous work in a Level 1 Trauma Center strongly preferred
Education Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field preferred
