Travel Ultrasound Sonographer - Winston-Salem, NC

Connected Health Care is seeking a highly experienced and dependable Travel Ultrasound Sonographer for an exciting 13-week travel contract in Winston-Salem, NC. This is a fantastic opportunity for seasoned professionals to bring their skills to a top-tier healthcare facility in a vibrant and welcoming Southern city.

Assignment Overview:

  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks

  • Schedule: Days, rotating every 2 weeks

  • Weekend Rotation: As needed

  • On Call: None

  • Holiday Requirements: No major holidays required

  • Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,700/week (based on experience)

Job Description:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic abdominal ultrasound exams in accordance with physician orders

  • Prepare and position patients for procedures to ensure comfort and safety

  • Operate ultrasound equipment to capture accurate, high-resolution images

  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to ensure timely diagnoses

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records in EMR systems

  • Comply with infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols

  • Work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of ultrasound experience required

  • Active ARDMS-AB (Abdomen) certification required

  • Current AHA BLS certification required

  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to patient care
