Job Description
Job Title: Rad Tech - Surgery Center
Type: Direct Hire
Schedule:
- 5x8-hour shifts
- 40 hours weekly
- Facility hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (end time may vary based on the last case of the day)
EMR: Nextgen
Operating Rooms: 2
Surgeries per Month: 200

Interview Process:
- Video interview with the Facility Administrator
- Onsite interview with a 2-hour shadow
Essential Functions:
- Assist the clinical team with patient and procedure room preparation, post-procedure clean-up, operating the C-Arm, scrubbing in for procedures, and cleaning and sterilizing tools and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies.
- Maintain radiology safety-monitoring procedures and may serve as the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) for the center or Safety Officer.
- Assist in scheduling patients for vascular access procedures and provide assistance in transporting patients within the center.
- Participate in community education activities regarding the access center.
Education, Experience, Certifications:
- High School Diploma (required)
- Associate degree in science or successful completion of a formal educational program accepted by AART (required)
- 1 year of experience in general diagnostic, special procedures, or cardiac catheterization (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (preferred)
- Basic computer skills (preferred)
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART) (required)
- State license and/or fluoroscopic permit to practice Radiologic technology if required by state law (required)
