Job Description
Rad Tech - Full Time - Surgery Center
Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts. 40-hours weekly. Facility is open Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (end time may vary depending on the last case of the day)
EMR: Nextgen
Number of Operating Rooms: 2
Number of Surgeries per Month: 200 per month

Interview Process:
- Video interview with the Facility Administrator.
- Second round: onsite interview with a 2-hour shadow
Essential Functions:
- Assist clinical team with patient and procedure room preparation and post-procedure clean-up.
- Operate the C-Arm, scrub-in for procedures, clean and sterilize tools and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies.
- Maintain radiology safety-monitoring procedures and may serve as the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) for the center or Safety Officer.
- Assist in scheduling patients for vascular access procedures and provide assistance in transporting patients within the center.
- Participate in community education activities regarding access center.
Education, Experience, Certifications:
- High School Diploma (required).
- Associate degree in science or successful completion of a formal educational program accepted by AART (required).
- 1 year experience in general diagnostic, special procedures, or cardiac catheterization (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (required).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (preferred).
- Basic computer skills (preferred).
