Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
Type: Direct Hire/Staff Position
Location: Orthopedic Hospital of Wisconsin 
Salary: Up to $85,000/yr

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, Day Shift
• On-Call Rotation
• Staff rotate through different 8-hour shifts
  • Early shift starts at 6:30 AM
  • Later shift starts at 9:00/9:30 AM

Location: Wisconsin

EMR: Meditech Expanse
Operating Rooms: 10
Surgeries Per Month: 575-625

1. Telephone/Video interview with the VP of Nursing & Surgical Services

Reporting To: VP of Nursing and Clinical Services

Requirements:

• Licensure/Certification:
  • BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (required before hire)
  • Radiologic Technologist credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (required before hire)
  • Licensed Radiographer for the state of Wisconsin
• Education:
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or
  • Associate's degree, or
  • Technical degree

Core Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate proficiency in radiologic positioning and techniques
• Operate large C-arms in OR and pain clinic settings
• Use portable X-ray machines in OR and recovery room
• Ensure prompt submission of all high-quality images and documents to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers, patient data/history)
• Prepare contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations
