Job Responsibilities
As a Travel COTA, you will support patients in achieving meaningful, functional outcomes by assisting with therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Daily responsibilities include:

Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
-
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility training
-
Provide therapeutic exercises to enhance strength, coordination, balance, and endurance
-
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety strategies
-
Accurately document patient progress in compliance with facility and state regulations
-
Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including therapists, nursing staff, and case managers
Education & Certification Requirements
-
Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
-
Current Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Nevada or eligibility for licensure
-
NBCOT certification required
-
Minimum of 1 year of COTA experience (LTC/SNF experience preferred)
-
CPR/BLS certification (current)
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
