Job Description:

As a PACU Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and smooth transition of patients from the operating room to the recovery area. Your responsibilities will include:

• Post-Anesthesia Care: Providing specialized nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Monitoring: Continuously assessing patients' vital signs and overall condition.
• Medication Administration: Administering medications as prescribed and monitoring their effects.
• Patient Education: Offering guidance and support to patients and their families regarding post-operative care.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• RN License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
• PACU Experience: Previous experience in a PACU or critical care setting is highly preferred.
• ACLS/BLS Certification: Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
• Strong Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
