Connected Health Care is partnering with a reputable healthcare facility in Stevens Point, Wisconsin to find a Travel MS/Tele RN for 12-hour night shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nurses to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a supportive healthcare environment.

Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units, monitoring vital signs, telemetry readings, and lab results.
• Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record).
• Monitor patients with complex medical conditions, including heart disease, respiratory issues, and post-surgical recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Active RN License required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
• Telemetry experience and certification preferred.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience.
• Experience in managing patients with heart disease, respiratory issues, and post-surgical recovery.
• Ability to assess patient conditions, respond to changes in their status, and intervene as needed.
• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills.
• Excellent communication skills to work with patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
