Travel Critical Care RN – 12-Hour Day Shifts – Rhinelander, Wisconsin

Connected Health Care is partnering with a well-established healthcare facility in Rhinelander, Wisconsin to find a Travel Critical Care RN for 12-hour day shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Critical Care Nurses to provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a supportive, community-oriented healthcare environment.

Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to patients in the ICU and critical care units.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, lab results, and response to treatments, making adjustments as necessary.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and other critical treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Manage ventilators, perform intubations, and provide advanced respiratory care.
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients, monitoring for any complications or changes in condition.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record).
• Communicate effectively with patients' families, providing education and emotional support.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Active RN License required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
• CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification preferred.
• Experience in ICU or Critical Care Nursing required.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of Critical Care nursing experience.
• Proficiency in critical care procedures, including ventilator management, intubation, and advanced cardiac life support.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to make quick decisions in life-threatening situations.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate families.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
