Travel ER RN – 12-Hour Day or Night Shifts – Tomahawk, Wisconsin

Connected Health Care is partnering with a reputable healthcare facility in Tomahawk, Wisconsin to find a Travel ER RN for 12-hour day or night shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for Emergency Room nurses to work in a fast-paced environment while providing top-quality care to patients in need of urgent medical attention.

Job Description:

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room to patients with a variety of medical conditions, injuries, and trauma.
• Assess patients, prioritize care, and provide immediate interventions for life-threatening conditions.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition, responding quickly to changes in status.
• Document all patient assessments, treatments, and progress in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record).
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
• Provide emotional support and patient education, including discharge instructions and follow-up care.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Active RN License required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred.
• Previous ER nursing experience required.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Proficiency in assessing and treating patients with traumatic injuries, medical emergencies, and complex conditions.
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare staff.
• Strong communication skills to educate patients and families and work effectively in high-stress situations.
