Per Diem Emergency Room Nurse – 12-Hour Day Shifts – Waukesha, Wisconsin

Connected Health Care is partnering with a well-established healthcare facility in Waukesha, Wisconsin to find a Per Diem Emergency Room Nurse for 12-hour day shifts. This position offers an exciting opportunity for nurses with trauma level II experience to work in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional patient care.

Job Description:

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the emergency room.
• Triage and assess patients, prioritize treatment based on severity of condition.
• Administer medications, perform necessary procedures, and monitor patient status.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide support for trauma cases and assist with advanced emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatments.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning as appropriate.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Active WI-RN or Compact RN license required.
• BLS (American Heart) certification required.
• NIHSS Stroke certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of trauma level II experience required.

Required Experience:

• 2+ years of emergency room nursing experience.
• Experience in trauma level II settings is essential.
• Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
