Travel MS/Tele RN – 12-Hour Night Shifts – Tomahawk, Wisconsin

Connected Health Care is partnering with a respected healthcare facility in Tomahawk, Wisconsin to find a Travel MS/Tele RN for 12-hour night shifts. This is a great opportunity for experienced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nurses to work in a small-town hospital setting, providing high-quality care to patients in a supportive environment.

Job Description:

• Provide direct patient care in the Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units, including monitoring vital signs, telemetry, and lab results.
• Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor patients with heart disease, respiratory issues, and post-surgical recovery, providing appropriate interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Document all patient assessments, treatments, and progress in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record).
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health management, and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards to ensure a safe and clean environment.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Active RN License required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
• Telemetry experience and certification preferred.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience.
• Proficiency in managing patients with a variety of medical conditions, including heart disease, respiratory issues, and post-surgical recovery.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and educating patients.
