Travel MS/Tele RN – 12-Hour Night Shifts – Quinter, Kansas

Connected Health Care is partnering with a respected healthcare facility in Quinter, Kansas to find a Travel MS/Tele RN for 12-hour night shifts. Job Description:

• Provide direct patient care to individuals in the Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units, including monitoring vital signs, telemetry readings, and lab results.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor patients with chronic conditions, post-surgical recovery, and acute medical conditions requiring telemetry monitoring.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record).
• Respond quickly to changes in patient conditions, adjusting care plans and interventions as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital safety protocols, infection control measures, and policies.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Active RN License required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
• Telemetry experience and certification preferred.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience.
• Proficiency in monitoring and caring for patients requiring continuous observation and care.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and educating patients.
