Travel MS/Tele RN – 12-Hour Day or Night Shifts – Wausau, Wisconsin

Connected Health Care is partnering with a respected healthcare facility in Wausau, Wisconsin to find a Travel MS/Tele RN for 12-hour day or night shifts. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nurses to work in a supportive environment while providing top-tier care to patients in both critical and general care settings.

Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive care to patients on the medical-surgical and telemetry floors.
• Monitor patient vitals, telemetry readings, and lab results to assess condition and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond to changes in patient conditions, including emergency situations, and act quickly to provide appropriate interventions.
• Document patient status, assessments, and interventions in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record).
• Educate patients and families on disease management, post-discharge care, and lifestyle modifications.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Active RN License required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
• Telemetry experience and certification preferred.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience.
• Ability to assess, manage, and intervene with patients requiring both medical and telemetry monitoring.
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
