Connected Health Care is partnering with a respected healthcare facility in Estes Park, Colorado to find a Temp to Hire MS/Tele RN for 12-hour night shifts. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN to join a dedicated healthcare team in a beautiful mountain town while contributing to the care of patients across multiple units.

Job Description:

• Provide direct patient care in the Medical-Surgical (MS) and Telemetry (Tele) units, ensuring high-quality care for patients with acute and chronic conditions.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, telemetry readings, and lab results to assess their status and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide care to patients requiring continuous monitoring, such as those on telemetry, post-surgical recovery, or suffering from chronic illnesses.
• Document all patient care activities, assessments, and progress accurately in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record).
• Respond to patient needs and adjust care plans as necessary based on changes in patient conditions.
• Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, post-discharge care, and ongoing management.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Active RN License required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• 2+ years of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience preferred.

Required Experience:

• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to provide exceptional care in both Medical-Surgical and Telemetry settings.
