Med/Surg: Ortho/Observation Registered Nurse

We are currently partnering with a prestigious healthcare facility in Show Low, Arizona, to find a skilled and compassionate Med/Surg Ortho/Observation Registered Nurse to join their dynamic team.

Job Description:
Registered nurses, regardless of specialty or work setting, utilize the Standards of Professional Nursing Practice and the listed competencies, in caring for the patients.  The nursing process, critical thinking and problem solving skills are utilized to provide holistic care to individuals, families, groups, communities and populations across the life span. 

Medical/Surgical/Orthopedics/Observation: 

• 10 private rooms
• Nursing is 5:1
• Patients include:
  • Post-op patients
  • Total joint replacement
  • Transient ischemia attack (TIA)
  • Non-infectious medical patients
  • Acute/chronic renal disease
  • DVT/PE
  • Observation patients

(Telemetry monitoring, tele-neurology and tele-nephrology available)

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Arizona.
- BSN degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg or Ortho nursing experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
