Job Description: As a PACU Pre Op RN, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients before they undergo surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting pre-operative assessments to evaluate patients' health status.
• Collaborating with surgical teams to develop individualized care plans.
• Administering medications and anesthesia as necessary.
• Monitoring vital signs and responding to any changes in patient condition.
• Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Assisting in the transfer of patients to the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).
• Documenting patient information accurately and maintaining records.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Minimum of 1 years of PACU or pre-operative nursing experience.
