Travel Physical Therapist – Atlanta, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,130 (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated Travel Physical Therapist for an exciting 13-week travel contract in Atlanta, Georgia. Position Overview:
The Travel Physical Therapist will provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients in need of rehabilitative care. The ideal candidate is compassionate, skilled, and ready to bring their expertise to a collaborative healthcare team focused on exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess patients’ physical abilities and limitations.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and overall function.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, exercises, and modalities to achieve patient goals.
- Document patient progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about home exercise programs and preventive care.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Required:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Georgia (or compact eligible)
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Preferred:
- Previous experience in outpatient, inpatient, or acute care settings
- Strong communication and patient education skills
