We’re seeking a licensed Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our home health team in Austin, TX. This flexible, mobile role allows you to deliver high-quality, one-on-one therapy to patients where they’re most comfortable — their homes. Whether you’re exploring home health for the first time or looking to supplement your schedule, this opportunity gives you professional autonomy, strong support, and meaningful work.

We offer a steady stream of appointments, with at least 10 available per week. You're only required to accept 3 or more, giving you full control over your workload. Most visits are under an hour, making it ideal for clinicians seeking flexible, focused care experiences.

Job Responsibilities

EMR System: KanTime – training available if needed

  • Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist

  • Follow individualized care plans and deliver tailored interventions

  • Assist patients in restoring mobility, function, and independence

  • Accurately document all patient interactions and outcomes

  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and safety practices

  • Coordinate effectively with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care

Qualifications

  • Current Texas PTA license

  • Previous home health experience strongly preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Able to work independently and travel throughout the Austin area

  • Must have reliable transportation and an active driver’s license
