We are hiring a licensed Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home care across Austin, TX. This role offers the flexibility to choose your own visits while delivering personalized therapy to patients in their residences. Whether you’re looking to expand your home health background or seeking a part-time schedule with purpose, this opportunity gives you freedom and stability.

You'll have access to a minimum of 10 patient visits weekly. While only 3 are required, you can pick up additional appointments as your availability allows. Most visits take less than one hour, giving you control over your time without sacrificing quality.

Primary Responsibilities

EMR System: KanTime – full training available upon request

  • Carry out physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist

  • Execute customized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs

  • Help patients recover strength, improve movement, and regain independence

  • Maintain detailed, timely documentation of sessions and progress

  • Instruct patients and caregivers on exercises, precautions, and safe mobility

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to maintain consistency in care

Qualifications

  • Active PTA license issued by the state of Texas

  • Experience in home health is preferred

  • Strong communication and patient engagement skills

  • Ability to work independently and cover travel within the Austin area

  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
