Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Belle Fourche, SD

Position Overview:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to create customized treatment plans and deliver patient-focused care.
Job Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients of varying ages
-
Provide therapy to address speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders
-
Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nursing staff
-
Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on home programs and therapy techniques
-
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
-
Participate in care planning meetings and quality improvement initiatives
-
Stay current with best practices and emerging research in speech-language pathology
Qualifications:

Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Licensure & Certifications:
-
Current South Dakota SLP license or ability to obtain

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA – required
-
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required
Experience:
Previous experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical reasoning skills
