$1570/week | New Grads Welcome | Full-Time | 2 On-Site Rehab Gyms

A modern, highly-rated long-term care facility near Abilene, Texas is seeking a passionate and reliable Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join its dynamic rehab team. This full-time travel role offers hands-on clinical growth, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to support residents in a facility equipped with two on-site rehab gyms and advanced clinical specialty programs.

Pay: $1570/week (gross)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
Weekends: Optional (flex schedule available)

Whether you’re a new graduate or a seasoned COTA, this is an excellent opportunity to build experience in a supportive and innovative LTC environment. Daily caseloads typically include 8–12 residents, with a 92% productivity expectation. Therapists collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver impactful therapy services and outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist

  • Implement individualized plans focused on improving resident independence and quality of life

  • Document care accurately using Net Health (formerly Rehab Optima)

  • Coordinate with nursing staff via PointClickCare (PCC) for seamless care delivery

  • Participate in facility programs such as falls prevention and wound care

  • Support functional outcomes through engagement in interdisciplinary team planning

Qualifications

  • Active COTA license in Texas or ability to obtain temporary/travel licensure

  • New graduates welcome to apply

  • Ability to maintain a 92% productivity level

  • Experience in geriatrics or long-term care preferred
