Physical Therapist (PT) – Temp to Perm
Location: Lovington, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Temp to Perm Opportunity)
Compensation: Up to $2,700 per week (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) for a Temp to Perm opportunity with one of our trusted healthcare partners in Lovington, NM. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes while exploring the possibility of a long-term placement.
Job Description:
- Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients to restore, maintain, and improve physical function.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Provide education to patients and families on exercises, safety, and home care techniques.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner according to facility and regulatory standards.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to review and update patient care plans.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations related to physical therapy practice.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active New Mexico Physical Therapy License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
- Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
- Previous experience in a rehab, acute care, or skilled nursing setting preferred.
