Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Rapid City, SD

Connected Health Care is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time permanent position with one of our valued healthcare partners in Rapid City, South Dakota. This is a great opportunity for COTAs looking to grow in their career while serving a welcoming rural community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to deliver individualized treatment plans

  • Assist patients in improving mobility, independence, and daily living activities

  • Monitor patient progress and document therapeutic outcomes

  • Educate patients and families on exercises and home treatment programs

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure high-quality patient care

  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and facility guidelines

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

  • Current South Dakota COTA license or eligibility to obtain

  • NBCOT certification required

  • BLS certification

  • Prior experience in a therapy or rehabilitation setting is preferred, but new grads are welcome
