Travel Physical Therapist – Stonecrest, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,130 (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a motivated and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist for an exciting 13-week contract opportunity in Stonecrest, Georgia. Our client is a reputable healthcare partner known for excellence in patient outcomes and supportive team environments. This position is ideal for physical therapists looking to expand their clinical skills while enjoying a dynamic and rewarding travel experience.
Position Overview:
The Travel Physical Therapist will assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities in patients. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment where your expertise makes a real difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and functional limitations to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional training to promote patient recovery and mobility.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on treatment goals, home exercises, and injury prevention.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to a supportive and positive clinic environment focused on patient-centered care.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Required:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Georgia (or compact eligible)
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Preferred:
- Outpatient experience
- Open to New Graduates and First-Time Travelers
