Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Sturgis, SD
Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a respected healthcare provider in Sturgis, South Dakota, to find a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, permanent role. Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated SLP to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
Job Responsibilities:

Evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities
-
Develop and implement personalized therapy plans based on patient needs
-
Work closely with physicians, PT/OTs, nurses, and caregivers as part of a multidisciplinary team

Educate patients and families on therapy practices and home exercises
-
Accurately document patient evaluations, progress, and treatment outcomes
-
Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
-
Stay current with clinical best practices and new therapeutic approaches
Qualifications:

Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university

Licensure & Certifications:
-
Current South Dakota SLP license or ability to obtain

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA – required
-
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required
Experience:
1+ year preferred, but strong new grads are encouraged to apply
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
