Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Near Sturgis, SD
Connected Health Care is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time permanent position with one of our valued healthcare partners in Sturgis, South Dakota. This is a great opportunity for COTAs looking to grow in their career while serving a welcoming rural community.
Job Responsibilities:

Work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to deliver individualized treatment plans

Assist patients in improving mobility, independence, and daily living activities
-
Monitor patient progress and document therapeutic outcomes
-
Educate patients and families on exercises and home treatment programs
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure high-quality patient care
-
Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and facility guidelines
Education & Certification Requirements:
-
Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
-
Current South Dakota COTA license or eligibility to obtain
-
NBCOT certification required
-
BLS certification
-
Prior experience in a therapy or rehabilitation setting is preferred, but new grads are welcome
