Travel Rehabilitation Nurse – 12-Hour Night Shifts – Wausau, Wisconsin

Connected Health Care is partnering with a leading healthcare facility in Wausau, Wisconsin to find a Travel Rehabilitation Nurse for 12-hour night shifts. This is an exciting opportunity for nurses with a medical surgical rehab background, or those with a medical-surgical nursing background, to make a meaningful impact in patient recovery and rehabilitation.

Job Description:

• Provide compassionate care to patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and other medical conditions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized rehabilitation plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
• Provide patient and family education on recovery, rehabilitation, and prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress in the electronic medical record.
• Help ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• WI RN License required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical Rehab or Medical-Surgical nursing experience required.

Required Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical Rehab or a Medical-Surgical nursing setting.
• Experience with patient care plans, rehabilitation strategies, and recovery management.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
