Job Opportunity: RN Residential Care Director - Port Townsend, WA
Position Overview Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to take on the role of Residential Care Director for a highly regarded long-term care facility in Port Townsend, WA. This is a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensure high-quality resident care, and make a meaningful impact in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the residential care team, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.

Supervise and mentor nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Monitor and evaluate resident care to ensure the highest standards are met.

Collaborate with families, physicians, and other stakeholders to support residents’ well-being.

Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for optimal care delivery.

Lead quality assurance initiatives and maintain accurate documentation.
Work Schedule:

Day shift: Monday through Friday, five 8-hour shifts per week.

Full-time position with an immediate start date.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Licensure: Active and unencumbered RN license (Washington State or Compact).

CPR and First Aid certifications required.

Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a long-term care setting, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.

Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
