Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Associate's degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy or related field
  • Certifications Requirements: RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • Experience Requirements: 2+ years of clinical RRT experience, including NICU or neonatal critical care
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work nights, excellent communication skills, resilience in high-pressure environments

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care and interventions to neonatal patients in the NICU, ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards.
  • Monitor patient vitals and respiratory status, adjusting treatments as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress accurately in the electronic medical record system.
  • Respond promptly to on-call emergencies and assist during critical procedures as part of the neonatal ICU team.
