Connected Health Care, a recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a hospital setting in Rio Rancho, NM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients with chronic and acute respiratory conditions.
Job Description:
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients in accordance with physician orders
- Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families about respiratory therapy procedures and equipment
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Current Respiratory Therapist license in the state of New Mexico
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience with mechanical ventilation, arterial blood gas sampling and analysis, and airway management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
