Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Houston, TX
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm specializing in Healthcare and Educational Services, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an exciting 30-week contract opportunity near Houston, TX. Position Details:
- Location: Houston, TX
- Contract Length: 30 weeks
- Weekly Compensation: Up to $65/hr (based on experience)
Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to create individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust therapy as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings to discuss goals and progress
- Educate staff and parents on techniques to support student communication skills
- Stay current with best practices and evidence-based strategies in speech therapy
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in educational settings is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
