Job Description:

• Assist Speech Language Pathologists in providing speech and language therapy services to students.
• Implement therapy plans and activities designed to improve students' communication skills.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting activities as necessary.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' communication needs.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of therapy sessions.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent.
• Valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license in the state of Florida.
• Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
• Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
