School-Based Physical Therapist – Yelm, WA
Contract Length: 36 Weeks | Weekly Pay: Up to $1,950 or $52/hr (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care, a trusted recruitment and staffing firm specializing in Healthcare and Educational Services, is actively seeking a passionate and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a school-based position near Yelm, Washington. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative educational environment and support students’ physical development and mobility in a school setting.
Job Responsibilities

Assess students' physical abilities and develop individualized therapy plans to support functional mobility and participation in school activities

Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students in accordance with their IEP goals
-
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, school staff, and families
-
Recommend adaptive equipment and modifications for improved classroom access
-
Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress reports
-
Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input on mobility and physical development
-
Promote safe and inclusive learning environments for students with physical challenges
Education & Certification Requirements

Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
-
Active Washington State Physical Therapy License (or ability to obtain before start date)

Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred

Strong interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills
-
CPR certification and knowledge of IDEA/IEP compliance are a plus
