Behavior Technician – Rio Rancho, NM
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $20/hr (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm specializing in Healthcare and Educational Services, is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician for one of our Educational Services clients in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students while gaining valuable professional experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct one-on-one or group behavioral interventions to students in educational settings.
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Monitor, track, and document student progress through detailed reporting and data collection.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to support student development.
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with behavioral needs is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in an educational environment.
