Behavior Technician – Rio Rancho, NM

Contract Length: 14 weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $20/hr (based on experience)

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm specializing in Healthcare and Educational Services, is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician for one of our Educational Services clients in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct one-on-one or group behavioral interventions to students in educational settings.
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Monitor, track, and document student progress through detailed reporting and data collection.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to support student development.
• Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is highly preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior experience working with children or individuals with behavioral needs is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in an educational environment.
