Contract Length: 36 Weeks | Weekly Pay: Up to $19/hr (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm specializing in Healthcare and Educational Services, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant II (CNA II) for a contract role with one of our trusted Educational Services partners in Newton, NC. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives while enjoying the support and flexibility of a contract position.

Job Description
As a CNA II in this educational setting, you will provide essential care and support to students with medical and personal care needs. You will collaborate closely with nursing staff, educators, and other school personnel to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist students with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as hygiene, toileting, feeding, and mobility

  • Provide basic medical care under the supervision of a registered nurse or medical professional

  • Maintain accurate documentation of care and student progress

  • Support the implementation of individualized care plans and health interventions

  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families to promote continuity of care

  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to all state and school district policies

Education & Certification Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Active North Carolina CNA II certification in good standing

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  • Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
