Part-time (20 hoours a month) Occupational Therapist – Tampa Bay/Lakeland, Florida

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to make a significant impact in an educational setting. The position offers a 36-week contract with weekly compensation up to $60/hr based on experience.

Job Description:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students with varying needs in an educational setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' abilities and areas of need.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Florida.
  • NBCOT certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
