Position Overview:

• Contract Length: 36 weeks
• Compensation: Up to $63/hour (based on experience)
• Location: York, PA

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students, ensuring individualized plans meet each student's needs.
• Assess, plan, and implement therapy programs to help students develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
• Educate students and their families on therapeutic techniques to be used at home.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Pennsylvania.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification.
• Previous experience in an educational setting preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
