Key Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy services to support students’ academic success and independence

Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

Collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, and families to integrate OT goals into the educational environment

Address fine motor, sensory integration, self-care, and daily living skill development
-
Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with district policies
-
Train and support school staff on strategies and accommodations for student needs
Qualifications
-
Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
-
Current Louisiana Occupational Therapist License (or eligible to obtain)

Experience in a pediatric or school-based setting preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills

Passionate about supporting students’ growth and success in the classroom
