Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to students within the educational setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve students' mobility and physical functioning
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall well-being
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for physical therapy services
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support students' physical development
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Illinois
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
