Physical Therapist - Sterling, IL

Job Description:

  • Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to students within the educational setting
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve students' mobility and physical functioning
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall well-being
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and progress
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for physical therapy services
  • Educate staff and families on strategies to support students' physical development

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Illinois
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
