Key Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy services to students with physical disabilities and motor challenges

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, and parents to ensure optimal care

Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as needed

Conduct evaluations and provide documentation in compliance with school district standards

Educate school staff and caregivers on physical therapy strategies and accommodations
Qualifications

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
-
Current Louisiana Physical Therapist License (or eligibility)

Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Passion for working with children and making a positive impact in education
