Job Description:
1. Initiate, facilitate and/or coordinate REEDS and Multidisciplinary Evaluation
Team (MET) assessments in response to referrals for students suspected
of being eligible for special education.
2. Write up and interpret the results of assessments to referral sources and parents.
3. Attend REED, IEP meetings, and other meetings.
4. Assist the LEA in developing, analyzing, and evaluating individual,
group, and system-level interventions.
5. Provide consultation to parents, school personnel, students and others.
6. Partner with representatives of other agencies in arranging and
coordinating services to children with behavioral challenges.
7. Complete all forms and reports in a timely manner consistent with ISD
policies and procedures.
8.Support and participate in Multi-Tiered Support of System (MTSS) activities.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- All candidates must have Michigan state licenses/certifications
