Job Description
As a part-time SLP, you will:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Conduct evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Document and maintain accurate records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress.
- Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in speech-language pathology within the educational setting.
Education and Certification Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience working in schools is a plus but not required.
