Job Description

School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Baton Rouge, LA

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm specializing in Healthcare and Educational Services, is seeking a passionate School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for one of our partnered Educational Services clients near Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Contract Details

  • Contract Length: 30 weeks

  • Compensation: Up to $65/hr (based on experience)

  • Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Job Description

  • Provide diagnostic evaluations and therapy services for students with communication and speech disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs

  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success

  • Monitor progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Education and Certification Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Current Louisiana state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred

  • Prior school-based experience is a plus but not required
