Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School Setting
Location: San Antonio, TX
Contract Length: 20 Weeks | Weekly Compensation: Up to $65/hr (based on experience)

We are partnering with a prominent educational services client in San Antonio, TX, to fill a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position in a school setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and dedicated SLP to make a positive impact in a school community while enjoying competitive compensation.

Job Description:
As a School Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide speech and language services to students in a K-12 school setting. You will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to address speech and communication needs, helping students achieve success in both academic and social settings. This is a 20-week contract with the opportunity for weekly compensation up to $65/hr based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations for students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor progress and adjust therapy plans
  • Assist in creating and implementing speech-related accommodations and modifications for students
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on student progress and therapy sessions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing goals and strategies
  • Support students with language delays, articulation disorders, fluency disorders, and more

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current Texas State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
