Speech-Language Pathologist (2025-2026 School Year) – Detroit, MI – Up to $65/hr

1 Full-Time SLP (37.5 hours/week)

1 Part-Time SLP (flexible hours)
Schedule:Â Monday-Friday (school hours)
Duration:Â August 2025 - June 2026
Pay Rate: Up to $65/hr (based on experience)
Location:Â Detroit, MI (multiple charter school campuses)
Job Description:
Conduct comprehensive speech/language evaluations
Develop and implement individualized IEP goals
Provide direct therapy for articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
Collaborate with teachers on classroom accommodations
Serve culturally diverse student populations
Utilize evidence-based practices and assistive technology
Maintain accurate documentation per Michigan Medicaid requirements
Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences
Education & Certification Requirements:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Michigan SLP License (or immediate eligibility)
ASHA CCC-SLPÂ (Clinical Fellows welcome with supervision)
Experience with school-aged populations preferred
Knowledge of IEP processes and Medicaid billing
Ability to work in fast-paced charter school environment
